History of Salon 9

Salon 9 is a family-run business whose origins begin in Vietnam, with a Hair Salon called Le Nam.
In 1978, Moi Ly (the Manager and Owner of Salon 9), immigrated to the United States and in 1982, together with her family, opened up her first Hair Salon in California, called Beauty Express.
In 1992, Moi Ly moved to Houston, and founded the Southwest Beauty College, where she taught many Hair Stylists and helped them earn their beauty licenses.
Moi Ly opened Salon 9 in January of 2003. She works there still today, where she not only continues to cater to her many customers, but also continues to teach and train her employees.
